Rearranged our bedroom and set up new TV. Also cleaned the guest room and put on fresh bedding. Our snowstorm has amounted to an inch, but it may pick up overnight.

Had snow all day yesterday  then my neighbor  and her dh shoveled snow out of my driveway,sidewalk plus porch steps later.

30 degrees out  and rain/snow mix in forcast  and later to be very cold!

Wind up to 30 mi.per hour!

Am watching tv  and need to think about what to eat soon.

Duh...thought i need to check mail box for mail  then thought

Still doing Christmas cards, but I can see light at the end of the tunnel!  Hoping to get them mailed by Wednesday.  A broken printer has meant handwritten everything and rendered my cute holiday stationary useless this year.  Family and friends are expecting an update on how I'm doing, and seeing my handwriting on the cards may reassure them more than a printed letter.  

WV has had rain all day and we've stayed around 35 degrees.  I am thankful for the rain and hope it does stick around tomorrow as well.  The negative to that is a drop in temperature Monday night could result in freezing rain and ice, which is not good for anyone who needs to drive in it.  

I hope everyone here is safe and warm.  Prayers to all for a good week ahead.

We cleared a half foot of snow off the driveway this morning. At least it was comfortable outside. Then I addressed the Christmas cards and put invitations for Christmas dinner in those going to family members.

Easy relaxing weekend. On Saturday I went to the flooring store. Once my brother cleaned out the furniture out of my bedroom and I could really see just how much the carpet needed to be changed in the bedrooms, I decided to go ahead and have it done sooner rather than later.   Unfortunately, when I went down to the store. I found out they were closed for the Thanksgiving holiday until Monday.  (Sigh) Since i was in the neighborhood of the place that I like to go to and have my car washed,  I took care of that.

Today Sunday, I attended services, then went by Target to pick up a few items.I did a few loads of laundry, and I was able to put up my artificial tree. It's not decorated yet, but getting it up is half the battle. I will work on it tomorrow evening. 

Well that's it for me. Back to work tomorrow.

@viva923,, sounds like it would be a nice day tomorrow for you to put up and decorate a small Christmas tree with the cold and rain coming. If you need to write out some Christmas cards or wrap some gifts you could work on those projects too.

Temperature here is 21 and it is snowing. I've got TV on and am enjoying a cup of hot tea along with a warm raspberry turnover.

Waiting for 4:30 when my trees come on along with the candles on the mantle.

I've been enjoying some cute Hallmark Christmas movies the past couple of nights while writing out cards and wrapping gifts. I love this season.

I hope everyone here is enjoying their day. I know it can't be easy for some dealing with difficult times. We have to count our blessings and be thankful for happy memories. Taking it one day at a time is all we can do.

Walked fur baby about 2-miles today.    Over the weekend we had about 8 inches of snow.   I walked around the block in the morning today and again in the afternoon.  I've noticed over the years that when we get a lot of snow everyone shovels their sidewalks, when we have smaller amounts they sometimes just leave it.   We were able to go around the block with every sidewalk being shoveled - that was so nice!

Decorated house:   Not doing too much this year but I did enough to make the house look nice and cozy.  Since I'll be spending more time in the house I decided to make it look nice for me and fur baby!

Received Costco order:   Received 2 pairs of cute shoes - one brown, one black - picture below.  (They may look like a house slipper in the picture, but they're not - their shoes for outdoors with a sherpa lining).  I paid $17 a pair which I thought was a great price, but today they're on sale for $10.  Oh well, I really don't think I'll get to Costco for a price adjustment, but I'm still satisified with the price I paid.  The shoes are really nice - look good and comfortable.   Update:  I looked at their website and they have an option to ask for a price adjustment online.  I just completed that - we'll see what happens.

Christmas cards are done and ready to go out tomorrow.  Christmas tablecloth and runners are in place.  Christmas shower curtain and towels are out, as is the garden flag.  My last chore for today is to hang the insulated drapes in the living room.
