Good news..my daughter called me minutes ago.

and

I let her  know that i have been '"very" worried about her    and her having covid l ,etc and not feeling good  and not giving me a update  on her health  as last time we talked she was very ill!

She told me she was sorry..and  that she is now back to working  a few hoursat  her part time job  and wants to take me shopping,etc  Thursday morning!

I don't care how old your adult kids are ya still worry about them!

Once the temperature hit 49, I made a trip into town to do errands; drop off at P.O., got gas at Sheetz, picked up food at KFC for my girls, picked up an ultimate sub at Arby's for me, went to Chick-fil-A for a holiday gift card, went to Starbucks for a holiday gift card, and stopped at Bojangles for a holiday gift card.  My holiday "shopping" is done!

Sunny  and 50  and at 10:25 am

Daughter cancelled us going shopping today  a hour after ahe asked me last night to go today...its ok  i'm used to her doing this.

Not worth getting myself upset.,,as she changes her mind often  as part of her mental health illness.

95% of the leaves are down, so I spent this pleasant afternoon in the yard pushing the mulching mower. My husband and I hope to do a final yard clean up tomorrow, and then will store the outdoor equipment until next April.

Walked fur baby about 3-miles.

Tomorrow fur baby has dental surgery.  Keep him in your thoughts.  He's 13 years old and has some heart issues.  I'm worried, but they said he needs the surgery.

Worked on leaves.  My lawn guy is coming tomorrow, but I've been working on leaves almost every day this week as I want to keep on top of it.  My back is bothering me today.  I have some exercises I do when the back acts up.  I'm going to do them next.

Had yummy left overs:  Went out to dinner with some friends yesterday.  Had delicious pork chops.  Ate one and brought the other home for dinner today.

Going to try to go to bed early tonight.   Have to get fur baby to the vet by 7:00.  So to get ready and get him there on time I need to get up aroud 5:00.

Please chalk it up as part of your daughter's personality. Try not to take it personally.

My youngest is also not a reliable "plan maker". I love her to death, but that's just her thing. If we make plans, I consider the plans tentative. If the plans come to fruition, terrific, if not, no harm.

If the larger extended family is getting together, I set the date and let her know there is no pressure to attend if she cant. If she shows up, its a bonus. It has taken some practice to get to this point, but now I'm completely detached from any disappointment I used to have. I am trying hard to meet my adult children where they are. I ask the same for me.
