Hello to all who post and read❤️

Finally made it to B&N and bought two books. Then I went around the corner to the Vera Bradley store and purchased a nice crossbody at 30% off. New pattern too. Plus I had a 25% birthday VB card so she took another 25% and it also came with a gift. The gift was a small zippered pouch with a slip pocket and it was the same pattern.

I could have browsed at BN all day but not with my issues. DH wanted to go out so he came along and waited in the car. He did okay. I knew what I wanted so really in and out quickly.

Today we are staying home. DS has dinner but I cannot drive at night and DH is no better at the wheel. GS would drive us but it's too much back and forth since they moved about 20 minutes each way.

With DH falling and his pain he prefers to be home so GS and GD will pop by to get her guitar and bring plates for us tomorrow.

DS was in the hospital for a few days battling a UTI and COVID. He cannot walk anymore and doesn't even drive his adapted car anymore.

My niece is ok just the pain to get through the day teaching. Thank you for the good wishes. Since her car is totaled she has to lease one and she did maintain a lawyer.

It's hard but we just keep going. We have no choice.

At least I get to see Dr. Hot soon 🔥🤪🤣😁

I hope everyone is having a good day, not just because it is Thanksgiving but because everyone needs good things in life. I am glad you are all here and I thank you.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my very supportive friends here; I am thankful for your friendship and prayers and keep you close in my thoughts and prayers.   

I am cooking a very simple meal today; trucker daughter is home with us and her boyfriend will be here later.  Teacher daughter is cooking dinner at her boyfriends house and won't be home until Sunday.  Trucker daughter will probably head out within the next 48 hours; this house functions like a motel sometimes, but I'm happy when my girls are happy!  

Mom continues to be a handful at the home; at least twice a week she's doing something she's not supposed to, like wandering into other residents rooms, taking their things, etc.  Again, she is literally a 3 year old in an 89 year old body.  

I had suspicions about Moms activity and doings at home, but those who were in the house more than me, didnt think she was really doing the things I said.  Well, she's doing them at the home round the clock, so she was doing what I thought she was doing, in her home!  Mom is known in healthcare, as a "walker"; if she's awake, she's in constant movement.  She is the only mobile one of the residents there, and staff have to keep an eye on her at all times!   I am very thankful we got Mom out of the house when we did, before something major happened, and I feel we were far closer to that happening than we realized.  I  know Mom was being watched over by loved ones up above, before we finally realized she had to have 24/7 care and took her out of her house.  Mom has no idea where she is in this world; she has never once mentioned home.

I hope your Thanksgiving was a good day for you. DD, DS, DH & I had a wonderful dinner. Just talked about old times & of course watched football! Even though the cooking, etc. was more work than I can handle, I had plenty of help. Just can't do it all anymore.

I am keeping in my prayers those who are dealing with illnesses of their own and/or their family.
