Sorry, about your dryer...hope they either work on it or replace it for you!
Thusday morning went down in basement to do laundry but always look around to make sure all is well...it wasn't!
My 40 gallon "power vent" hot water heater..was leaking water into the floor drain!
No plumbers in our small town...so i called a business 12 miles east of town....explained problem..lady needed to know if it was gas..yes...type of heater and year made.... made in 2003 but not sure when it was installed....
ok..that was Thursday...Friday morning i had a new one installed.
uh..it was a tad expensive and so was labor.... but i have a new one!

@ripka junkie, so sorry to hear your friend passed. So many have passed this December - it's unreal! My friend's mother, a very young 98, had a heart attack on her birthday, 12/8, and passed on the 19th. Since then I've seen about a half dozen notifications of love-ones dying. Guess they are all in a better, happier place, but we all miss those we've loved, more so around the holidays.

I went food shopping, went out and fed the birds and the squirrels and am now goofing around on the computer.

Haven't been on this thread before; just started perusing - seems like a nice group.
I'm not doing much right now. You'd all probably laugh if you saw me. My hairdresser burnt my hair when giving me a spiral per at which she grossly failed at a few weeks ago. So, after lunch today decided to listen to a poster's suggestions and a friend's advice. I put evoo all over my hair, then an egg mixed with may over that. Topped it with saran wrap, a shower cap and a winter, ear-muffed hat. I gotta keep this on for three hours so I'm here 'til quarter-past four! Hope this works.....
The weather here has been bogus with tremendous temperature fluctuations. It's about 40* now and tonite we'll be getting an inch of snow, then about one to two inches of freezing rain - this mess will be ongoing until midday Tuesday. Then we go back to the 40*'s again. Stll go a little ice around from the prior week's ice storm. Can't wait for Spring!
Hope you don't mnd if I keep perusing your posts today - as mentioned I've basically got a three-hour time out!![]()
Hope everyone has a nice rest of the day!

Making homemade pizza for supper tonight. I made homemade Stromboli on Christmas Eve and made a double batch of dough and froze the other half. I usually don't freeze dough, but thought I'd give it a try.

@viva923 Is this a new dryer? There should be a warranty that must be honored. If you do not get anywhere with the owner, contact the company who made the dryer directly.
You don't have to eat this loss.
I don't think the drum matters; the dryer seems defective. I don't think it would matter how big the load is; the heating unit sounds to be the problem.
