So anyway -  back to the weather-rumbles of thunder and then the sun came back but it is still partly cloudy.  I thought a bit of rain would fall but it was not meant to be.

We are being advised to keep a/c set at 78, which is not a problem for us.

@ShowMe   I was happy to read about the transportation for you.  I know the American Cancer Society was supposed to link up with Lyft; I don't know if it ever happened.  There is a cancer center here and I know they have volunteer drivers. 

I hope everyone is doing ok and let's keep a positive thought for all who have health issues.

@viva923 I actually laughed out loud. A poster on these threads has two wild birds living in her house. She made them places to sleep and follows them around to bathe and check on them. Can you imagine what you would have to launder everyday ? Curtains, sofas, floors, everything in the house that would have bird poop on it. @Keybra    Perhaps you should get to know @Bird mama before making such statements.  She is one of the nicest posters on the entire forum and has a broad-based,  thorough knowlege of birds.

@SoX --- never once did I say she wasn't "nice" and "shame on me for making such comments" ? The birds belong outside IN MY OPINION and the inside of your house should be used for caged birds if any at all. I really don't care what she does but I doubt that the bird people would think it okay to harbor wild birds.

What "bird people"?   Are you aware that her birds cannot fly?   That one is a rescue from living in a coop?   What she does with the "inside" of her house is her business ... and without cages.

We are home safe, sound, and happy, from the recheck appt.   The surgeon was very pleased with the healing of the foot, and expects the wound will be totally healed by the next appt.  Home Health services are over, so I’m the one washing and dressing this wound every other day.   

Traffic was heavy up and back; a bit more nerve-wracking due to road and bridge projects everywhere.   In all seriousness, you cannot travel 5 miles in any direction in West Virginia right now without having to slow down for some type of road repair.   

Trucker daughter chose Outback for our supper today.   I’m not a big fan of eating out, and regardless of where we eat, I’m usually not impressed with the food; today was no different, just one of my quirks.   

Feels good to be in my pj’s now, in my recliner, in front of the TV; best place I’ve been all day!

Watching the game....and they just showed the moon.  It is simply beautiful.....nice and full.

@ShowMe   Just put out our trash bin this morning; it was still dark out and a bit of haze toned down the moon's brightness but it looked lovely.

@minkbunny.....Good morning minky.  So good to hear from you again.  Thanks so much for your sweet words.  Hope all is well with you.  Believe me, this isn't easy.  Am anxious about this coming Wednesday, but am trying to stay strong.
