Well, the CARDINALS just won.....6 to 3.   Very good game.  It turned out to be a beautiful day down at the ball park.

Just switched on a news channel....haven't watched any of it today....first thing I see is a shooting at a Synagogue in California....one fatality.  This is horrible....something has to be done.....  Here's hoping the get the shooter soon.

Any how, back to the game.  They will be playing again tomorrow at 1:15....and here's hoping they can do the same thing then as they did today.

super duper windy today, a good clip of a wind. NW wind so a very chilly wind. I can see why some people have having snow with this system that rolled thru last night.

@viva923.....yep....gotta have a nice tidy bedroom.  Have always been that way too.

Now about the being dressed.  You would never know that I have on my jammies.  Could go out in them, but I wouldn't.  Flowered bottom and solid top.  Only have a couple sets of jammies that look like jammies....but they are cute.  

You're not getting any of that snow are you????

@hellie jo.....yes, remember the times when there was no TV on late at night.  I can't record shows, but can watch shows that I do enjoy.....PBS/Create/World, HGTV, and a couple other channels.....no NEWS channels at all.  All of this is if I can't get to sleep.  

Hey, I think you would be eligible for the PJ club....lol

Am feeling somewhat better, and yes, taking care.  Going to make a nice salad for my dinner.  Will put some tuna in it.  And may have a cup of V8 juice.

Hi Everyone!

I am just checking in. I'm in Milwaukee this weekend. Saw Billy Joel in concert last night at Miller Park. It was a fabulous show! 

Today we did some shopping and had a late lunch. Going to head out in a while to a brew pub. It's snowing here and cold!!

will drive home tomorrow. I'll check in tomorrow! Have a great rest of your Saturday!

Today is quite cold...about 45, overcast and that doesn't factor in the wind chill! Gusts at times have hit over 45 mph. Tonight we also have a frost advisory so I have to cover our hostas and bring our porch planters with petunias into the garage.

I'll count our blessings we didn't have snow like others north of us.

We also have a female Robin who built her nest on the downspout of our neighbor's house. We can see her on our security video camera too and the poor thing has been doing her best staying on the nest in the wind trying to keep her eggs from blowing away. Unfortunately the winds are blowing NW and directly on her. Thankfully the winds are finally getting lighter and the worst is over.

It has been nice watching some old movies & a few BBC tv series on our DVDs with hot coffee...just relaxing

hey all

finally getting around to checking in tonight.

the place we go for dinner on Saturday night. Wasn’t that busy but the parties they were serving were 8-12 people per party, so the place was hard to keep up with the amount of serving that went on tonight.

ran to rite aid tonight, wanted to check something out. Drove home.

1 load in washer, 1 load in dryer, 1 ready to go into washer.

1st load ready for folding see all tomorrow

@Susan Louise......Seems just when we think spring has finally arrived, the cold stuff comes back.....

Sorry about that poor momma Robin.....she had her job cut out for her.  Hope she was able to keep the eggs warm enough.  Glad the winds died down.....

'@viva923 .....Have always thought that when a restaurant has a big crowd, the food is always good.  

Sounds like you had your usual laundry going on last night.  Hope you found some time to relax....
