real quick, have a bunch of stuff to still do around the house, some orders arrived today plus my other chores am behind.

hello guys

super quiet afternoon. making left overs for dinner. 

did get my walk in this afternoon, it was spitting outside during walk nothing bad. that wind was super chilly off ocean East wind. going to be chilly for next couple days then a huge warm up. DH and I will have good cleaning weather for wall washing and drapes wash. Spring cleaning has begun.

remember years ago when wall washing had to be done with sponges,and harsh detergents because of the coal house heating.

Sun all day with temp in the high 40"s.Still working on cleaning  closet.It sure does take longer when you get older LOL.Dh and I are going " up north " tomorrow.It will be nice to have a change of scenery.We will be gone for 3 days.So looking forward to it ShowMe,.no shenanigan's while I am gone Haha.

Hello to all!

I missed  posting yesterday as I just did not feel well. I just felt a little off and had one ear that was muted. Had that once before from vertigo.  Eventually that went away and I did a bit of laundry. Otherwise I took it kind of easy. 

Making stew now and not planning on doing too much else.

not much tonight, had showers roll thru. By Thursday/ Friday for wall wash days, we should be up to near 70 with plenty of sun. Good day for cleaning.

Had to have the nurse practitioner change the dressing on my finger today, unfortunately Sunday I was using the Mandolin to slice carrot pennies and sliced the tip of my middle finger off. I wasn't going to go to the ER, but I take a blood thinner and the bleeding would just not stop. I have never been a patient in the ER before and hopefully will not be again.

@viva923.....Glad you got your afternoon walk in.  Of course when you want to go out for your walk, it has to be spitting and chilly.  Bet you will be glad when it does get warmer in a few more days......   We promise we won't disturb you while doing all that cleaning.....lol.

Never waited that long to scrub down the walls.  Usually painted again.  I know some will say the walls should have been washed down before painting.  I had a husband that didn't help with that kind of work.  

Hope you enjoyed your dinner and now you are relaxing while watching TV.

@hellie jo.....yes, things seem to take longer when we get old.  Here's hoping you and DH have a wonderful time "up north".  Hope it's not cold up there.  I'll try to behave myself....LOL.
