Looking at that photo, I'm surprised that there are no seat belts or headrests yet.  

 

It looks so unsafe to me!  Woman Surprised

LOL remember them well.  That was a good window for a smoker - can you imagine?!  How did we survive no headrests or seat belts?!

I remember them in my very first car, a 1960 Ford Fairlane. No seatbelts or headrests and I lived through that era. They provided quite a bit of air when that was all we had. Yes, my hair is gray but wish it was silver! My hairdresser keeps the gray covered although I'm not opposed to letting it go natural--even when she insists I would NOT be happy with it.
