I just learned that there was an empty seat next to Prince William in honor of Princess Diana.

Aww, Jane Marple, how lovely.  Diana was there in spirit, that's for sure.  Those chosen to speak, perform or participate reflected her all-embracing and loving view of life and people.

that must have made Kate mad. Maybe she was looking down during the vows trying to compose herself....just speculating.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if he was asked to officiate at Princess Eugenie's wedding in October!  I would love to see that.  That would be a perfect way to continue Harry and Meghan's message to the world that a new era, a better era is here in the Kingdom. So happy for a brilliant service.
