I loathe snow, so I am not happy at all (I live in NYC). Winter is long enough as it is without infringing on Fall's last two weeks!

Meterological winter starts on December 1st and ends the last day of February.  If you use the meterological approach you can look forward to an early spring--March 1st.

We have snow too in PA. They were calling for 1 to 3. Well we have 7 inches here. And its supposed to snow (lightly) Mon night again and Thursday. Not a fan of snow (I prefer Summer) but what can ya do? I embraced it and took pictures. lol.

13" and counting here! We get a lot of lake effect snow so it seems to snow from November thru March. Enjoy!

Hi @Shorty2U, what part of PA are you in?  Western PA got no accumulation yet, just cold and some flurries.  Of course like many places here, all you need to do is drive 20 miles and it can be from nothing to winter wonderland.

If you watched any football today, specifically the Buffalo game, you see that we have snow here!  We live about a mile from the stadium. No plow has been down our street at all today --- we have at least 3 feet of snow here.  If anyone would like some, it's yours.  And it's only the beginning!

The Buffalo game was amazing.  They said 8" of snow fell during the game!  Luckily, the Bills wore red uniforms; the Colts wore white and must have been hard to see in the heavy snowfall.

How the heck did they play in that weather, how could they even see? In baseball they'll call the game if it's raining too hard, football, nothing stops the game!
