@mollymaggie   WOW😮  That is so frightening.....something that could happen to anyone.  Please call the company who manufactures this and share your story! They could put a warning on the package or instructions and maybe save a life.

YOU may have just saved many lives with your story.  I am so glad you will be OK....but that is not something anyone wants to experience 🙁

“...finally shut it off....”

One wonders how long the struggle went on before the thing was turned off.

I googled it to see what it looked like.  I guess the OP was using the part that looks like netting.

I know a regular loofah is nothing but netting tied together.  I've had a lot of them come undone.

I'm glad she was able to untangle herself.  Sometimes we all do things automatically and then just something like that happens.

Glad it turned out OK and glad she came on here to remind all of us to be aware.

And this is why every single thing you buy now has a warning label.

Remove child grom stroller before folding.

Do not place plastic bag on head.

Do not use the radio while in the tub,

How scary!  If you wear a lifeline on a chain though, you wouldn't want to be in the tub/shower without having it on!!

I am sorry OP had such a frightening experience! I think I will avoid taking anything using battery power into the bath or shower. I never wear any jewelry at home; I take it off as soon as I get home.

Spin Spa does warn to keep it away from hair.

Seems logical that any object could get caught.

I am glad that you are OK and thank you for warning us. That experience must have been so awful!

I always remove all of my jewelry before I bathe. I thought everyone did. Wow.

@mollymaggie What a frightening experience.  I am so glad that you are okay.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise
