I just received a very official looking "Amazon" email regarding my monthly billing for November and a provided link to update payment info, etc.

It's a total scam.  I pay my Amazon membership annually and my monthly subscriptions get charged separately when the items are processed.

As always, if you receive a suspicious email or text NEVER click thru the supplied link.  Go directly to the app or website and make any changes or updates that way.

I got one of those for PayPal .  lol I always remember to call the official number of Amazon, PayPal, who ever..that is on back of my card. I call them if I have questions. Now I just delete the emails, try to block and clear my cache.  A few years ago when they first started these scams I remember call back of card, and then speak to a real employee. Some like copies of the emails, some are so aware of the mails, they just tell you it's spam, etc

Re: WARNING - Amazon Scam Email

@LTT1  Exactly right ~ do not respond in any way. I get between 5 and 6 every day and they drive me CRAZEE!  I am registered with state and federal DO NOT CALL registrations but there are more and more daily. I try to catch the call (but I never speak) and quickly hit end the call because they began to fill my Voicemail. There are nuisance message texts as well and of course I immediately block each and every one. I try to look up numbers on reverse caller but they show up as 'potential' spam, telemarketers and robocall. Good luck to everyone and stay safe.

Re: WARNING - Amazon Scam Email

We have been with Prime since it started.  I only pay with a Visa.  Never with Paypal. My renewal starts automatically. Same with my instacart.
