Visiting. Yellow finch update

@Bird mama

Just to let you know that the yellow finch stops by the upper Windows in my great room and pecks on the windows for about 10 minutes every AM.

Thank goodness they don't have screens or they'd get shredded !

Just like Mrs. Kravitz on Bewitched, although she didn't poke around that long!  Enjoy your little "woodpecker" wannabe!

Sure is peculiar behavior, lol.  As long as the bird is doing okay and looks healthy and your windows are no worse for wear, then I guess you have a visitor until it gets cold :-)

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

Aww, I had one last year and he was the cutest thing.  he only liked the glass, never pecked at the screens when the windows were up.  Funny thing is,he would make his move around the house every week. Woman LOL

Do you feed them?  We have feeders in front and back of our home.  They looove the thistle seed and are so pretty and acrobatic. Thanks for posting about yours!
