Vince Flynn has died

Vince Flynn, the author numerous books about the fictional CIA operative Mitch Rapp, died this morning. He was 47 and had been diagnosed with stage 3 prostate cancer a few years ago.

I just finished reading Last Man Standing a few weeks ago and had been looking forward to the new one scheduled for release in a few months. He never got to finish it: Survivor Man.

I've read and liked all of the Mitch Rapp books. It feels like an old friend has died. Those books kept me company through a lot of doctor visits and more. I'm sad to know that no more of his books will appear on my Kindle. I know from a thread several months ago that a few posters also read his books.

He is survived by his wife and 3 children, aged 10-17.
