My son is a veteran, 4 deployments and another coming up early 2019.  He started out in the National Guard during his sophomore year in college.  He was deployed to Iraq for 2 years.  He returned, finished college, and was commissioned an officer, and has been promoted a few times since then. He led a dog unit in Afghanistan.  He led a sniper unit in Afghanistan.  He's partnered with leaders in other countries to train their soldiers.  He's a master-paratrooper, special ops, and has accomplished a lot. Sadly, he's lost some very good friends in these wars.  He's a good leader and goes the extra mile to protect his soldiers.  I'm so very proud of him.

God bless your son and you for his sacrifice and service.  A simple thank you is just not enough.  I hope your son is protected and goes on to live a long and happy life.

Thank your son for his wonderful service!   We would not be a free country, if it were not like people who believe in our great country.  God bless to all of our military!

My husband is a veteran. I don't think I will ever forget the look on his face when he came home. After his 3rd deployment I asked him to retire and he did. Some never come home. I got lucky. He lives with the memories of those lost.

Now my son is in college and then wants into air force. I am not thrilled with this!
