Depends on the topic, font size and whether it's broken up into paragraphs.  Also how snarky it is.  I don't like mean posters that purposely try to hurt someone's feelings.

@Jacie I like when there's an article or news clipping attached.  Then depending on what's posted I can decide if I want more info.  

I do agree with you that if it's a long blovated post I'll skip it.

I skip right past them. Hate the bright colors some posters write also.  I just bypass them.

My opinion, short. I may do two paragraphs on a post. But I pretty much skip the ones of too many quotes or arguing. Who needs that!

I will scan them if they look interesting. Worst is when the OP does not break it up into paragraphs or such and it is hard to read.

Depends. In a perfect world posts with several large photos would be made smaller and made into a collage of photos.

Guilty.  I tend to write lmoderate to long posts.  But, I do read other's posts regardless if they're long or short.  It also depends on the subject matter and if it's a subject of interest.
