I have always loved the nuggets from Arcadia Publishing,  "Images Of America", the company who does extensive recovery of information and pictures of locations and interesting topics, such as "Haunted Charleston"!

I need a gift gor a difficult person on my list and got one of these books about his hometown.

Do any of you know/have any experience with this company?  Thanks!

I love those books and have bought several about Chicago to give as gifts.

I bought the one from my Georgia hometown several years ago.

Someone posted about these a few months ago and I went to Amazon and bought two on towns I lived in growing up.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Before she passed away, one Christmas I had gotten my mother the one for the neighborhood she grew up in. She loved it.

That sounds like a very nice gift.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.
