It's like being at checkout and finding the coupon you meant to use expired the day before. Disappointing, but not worth ruining your day.

@occasionalrain Or Wal-Mart not allowing you to use it even though it is exactly what it says and the required product size etc. The CS used to be able to over ride coupons but no longer allowed. The Associate said once she tried one rejected at another Wal-Mart and was successful? Oh well!

@tundracat wrote:Ok. I bought what became the TSV a few days ago. QVC offered the item at a different price and I thought it would make good gifts, so I ordered it. Now today comes along and the item is offered at a reduced price. Well, I did call customer service and they did tell me that they could refund the difference but-they could not apply the VIPTSV5 code. Why not? I asked. They could not, because I didn't buy the item on the day the TSV was being offered. So, instead of applying the discount of $2.50 (which I later found out that's what it would have been) they chose to refuse as I let myself be angrier. To tell you the truth, if you have been a customer, than they should have honored that. I, personally think that they should not have sold the item earlier, knowing it was going to be a TSV. TSV's used to be a special item that you couldn't buy beforehand. Anyway, I was totally ****** at the way QVC handled this. Of course I could stop purchasing things, and make this easier on myself and my wallet.
Oh, come on .... you just didn't qualify for the discount, that's all.
If it was $25.00 and not a measly $2.50, I could understand the upset.
If you would really stop shopping at QVC over this, then just give yourself a break, stop shopping here, and shop locally.
Just trying to give you some perspective here.

I'd love to know what the item in question is! That was on sale one day, then a few days later a TSV? That is odd.

I've really cut back on watching QVC. I watched quite a bit for years, but can't really take the hosts anymore and the products are the same, on a loop.
I will occasionally watch for beauty ideas and then go to Ebay to make my purchase.
The price of returning something is way to high. I have to be absolutely sure I'm going to keep the item, or I just won't purchase.

I don't see any reason to get yourself so worked up over $2.50. Some things in life are just not worth it. Once you realize that, life will be a lot easier.

Coupons usually from anywhere come with the fine print, if it said it was not good on the day of your purchase you have to respect that.
