@Spurt Agree with your perspective. Besides, I'm no longer collecting seasonal decor but when I was I'd find things locally that I preferred to most of what VPH offers. As noted, only very, very occasionally she'll offer something I find appealing enough to order, but am downsizing and only very rarely adding more at this point. Shopping on-line is certainly easier, but when one gets stuck on a certain brand, as it seems many are with Valerie, creative decorating becomes limited. Besides, to be perfectly honest, most of her aesthetic doesn't do much for me.

@Krimpette I just ordered the Valerie set of 6 acrylic snowflakes that sold out this morning, I had to try several times to finally get them in my cart. Good Luck, hope you can order them too.

I have been buying Valerie's stuff for quite a while, but since she has gotten into the mercury glass lighted items, my purchasing has dropped. I think it's cheaper to produce the glass items and the shipping from China must be cheaper than say, resin items. I did buy both her greenhouses as I couldn't find similar items elsewhere. I also bought her toile wreath in blue. They are all on advance order, so I can't comment on the quality.

I love Valerie's items but at some point you can only buy so many hurricanes, spheres or figurines.
I will argue though that things from Home Goods or Hobby Lobby are not the same or necessarily the same quality. I own many themed illuminated items for harvest, Valentine's, Easter, Patriotic, etc, and some of these things have worked for years.
She used to have a new "showpiece" item that would often be a TSV like Starry Night hurricanes or trees. I noticed there was nothing really unique this year.

@Krimpette I know the ones you're talking about....and those are beautiful. I haven't seen them anywhere else. But the holiday items usually come out pretty soon. So here's hoping. I will say that Valerie does have some lovely items than you can't find anywhere else. I was mostly referring to her hurricanes, Santa's and gingerbread houses that I can find elsewhere. Fingers crossed that the snowflakes will be back.

I have seen some fall themed picks that I thjought were nice fom VPH, but she is too much of a glitter freak for me.
I think she puts glitter in Jell-O.
In past years she has had a few things that were relatively tasteful but the harlequin orbs and trees that were the TSV yesterday were way too tacky for me.

It seems many of her items are so similar to what she brings out year after year....another lantern, more spheres, more mercury glass trees.
One time I commented on her Facebook Page that I had purchased several of Valerie's wreath, but noticed on the newer wreaths it's been usually the same florals, and asked if she could she please do a floral wreath (any season) with a different flower other than Magnolias....and I got back the snarkiest response from her team, I replied that's ok I'll try our local Home Goods store.
Since I decorate with Luminara and real candles, I do like her pedestals and I got some good prices in the AS IS section, they were in perfect condition ....
Several years ago, I splurged and bought one of her Christmas trees, it was expensive and only latest a year and half. I posted a review on her Facebook Page, and her team told me to just purchase another set of lights....I told them I would expect this if it was from Walmart, but not at the price I paid for Valerie's. I got a nice artificial tree from Home Depot that lasted 3 years and still going strong, then I decided to downsize....it had all the bells and whistles, changing the color of the lights, various light twinkle modes etc.....
Our Hobby Lobby and Home Good stores have very nice selections and a good variety, and sometimes Kirklands too, of course good prices too. But actually I've gotten to the point where I downsized on home decor especially Christmas and donated quite a bit. I even got a smaller Christmas tree, no more 7 ft for me.
@Spurt - I found her not to be very helpful when I corresponded with her on FB Messenger. I contacted her regarding battery life on the male angel. It's over a foot tall, and uses AAA batteries, which lasted a little over 2 weeks. She responded that they always check that battery life is sufficient, and maybe I didn't use fresh batteries. I told her that I used brand new Duracells. Never got another reply.
She doesn't seem to be the sweet person she portrays on TV. 🤦🏼♀️

I've seen a number of crystal snowflakes, but none compare with those she offerred this morning. Good show. But it's always such fun when she's paired with Rick!
I agree. I searched the internet and found nothing to compare to these. They were unique. I did not purchase but have them on my list for the future.
