Vacationing alone

As usual the boards are not working right. This should be in among friends.


Several years ago I went on a bus trip to the Shakespeare Festival in Staratford, Ontario. We were there for several days and saw many plays,not just Shakespeare. I paid extra money so I didn't have to share a room. I had a great time. No one bothered me.


The funniest thing that happened is:I found a tee shirt for my son that said "Lets Kill all the lawyers". A doctor on the trip saw it, went back and bought 20 of them.


My Mother had gone on a cruise to see the Panama Canal. Traveled alone. My Dad refused to travel after WW2. Anyway she would not pay the extra money (she had it) and ended up NOT caring for her room mate.


The only thing about my bus trip I did not like was the $5.00 tip we all had to cough up for the driver. I wish I had known in advance.
