I have posted a few time over the last couple of weeks that my 3yr shih tzu has been sick. We decided to do surgery thinking the problem was the connection between the stomach and intestine was to small. Well the news during surgery was very bad. Gizmo had a tumor on his pancreas that was cancer. I had to let him go. My daughter and I are so sad. We got Gizmo from my niece when he was 1 yr because she did not have time for him. He turned out to be the best dog I have ever had. He loved us and was a joy to have. Gizmo recently turned 4 and we had him for almost 3 years and it was a joy. I have never lost a dog at such a young age, my dogs always live to be 15 or 16, so this is such a shock.
