A few weeks ago, I posted about 2 kittens that ended up in our yard, wild, scared, hungry and most of all, precious. We worked for several weeks to get them to trust us through feeding and just sheer patience. One male and one female=possible kittens and we are advocates for neutering/spaying...today, after holding my breath and praying a lot that she wouldn't go into heat, Ms. Kitty got her "operation" and is mad as heck at me but doing well. Mr. Kitty is beautiful. He was missing for a few weeks but DH found out neighbors on another street were taking care of him. We see him once in awhile but he is here and gone rather quickly.

Ms Kitty seems to like us and stays around our yard, she never misses dinner or breakfast! We tried to see how she would do inside but with 2 dogs, a small house and this 1 wild kitty, it wasn't going to work out for her to be indoors. I am not thrilled about her outside but we got her a shelter and food so she seems very content with her surroundings. Lately,, she will come up to me and rub against my legs and let me pick her up to love on her. She loves to have her head scratched and be petted for a couple of minutes, then she is over it! That's a cat for ya! Smile

I am just so relieved to know there are no kittens in her future. I appreciate all your advice. Thank you.
