Their arrest will hopefully get them seriously fined and some jail time. Jail time even if they are minors.

Folks could or are losing their homes and posessions. Not at all excusable.

I just saw an update. 800+ firefighters are currently fighting the fires including 13 Hotshot teams. The Salt Fire is threatening the village of Ruidoso Downs, and it has been placed on GO status. The South Fork fire is involved in Ruidoso. Together they are 20,000 acres.

The hospital and a nursing home were successfully evacuated.

@On It I am so sorry to hear of this terrible fire.

Thank God you were able to safely evacuate; I will pray for you and for those who are in imminent danger.

May the fire be put out as quickly as possible and may humans and wildlife be safe.

Terrifying for sure. About 12 years ago the house almost directly behind us caught on fire due to lightning. It burnt to the ground. Our house was in no danger, but I could not believe how HOT it was and how scary it was to watch. I would have a real hard time deciding what to take. I am way too STUFF oriented. Prayers to all in this horrible situation.
