Boy they really hid that link, if that doesn't tell ya something right there..... here's the link to the online form, and be aware it can take up to 12 (yes that's right 12) weeks for it to take effect! I hope it helps you!
Make sure you use the latest form....that other form was from 2012...This is the newest opt out form

When AARP started mailing me ads, years ago, I just sent back their envelope with the message inside: I have no money. Take me off your list.
Never heard from them again.
Little white lies. Better than telling them how I really feel about them.

Once thing I've noticed lately is that I haven't been seeing any during the weekends. Now watch, I probably jinxed myself and I'll get one any minute now. ![]()
During weekdays I won't see more than 2-3 a day. I guess either my carrier or nomorobo is catching some that will appear on the Caller ID but the phone never rings and it goes away pretty quickly. Those, I usually don't go in and hit block, after the fact. But if that number tries again I will probably block the number the second time around so it doesn't even come to the phone at all. That happened once last week. Although something caught it and precluded it from letting my phone ring I went ahead and hit the block key on the phone while it was there.

Thought you would be interested to know that when I tried filling out the form at the link you provided, it would enter my first name in every space.
Then, when I moved through the form, it would enter my last name in every space, then my address and so on.
Must be something hinky in the form.
I've bookmarked it and will try going back in a few days.
You are right, this is NOT the form I filled out at first, but, I did get an auto response from AARP.
Nothing is easy!
But thanks for your help.

@SilleeMee wrote:The CPR CallBlocker device is worth every cent I spent on it! I bought it several weeks ago when the Q had it as a TSV. It's the best thing ever! Life-changing. My landline hasn't rang but maybe once or twice in the past few days. I highly recommend it.
This is the thing that brought peace and quite to my house:

@SilleeMee- yep, best thing ever. It’s one of my best QVC purchases. Just from the pre programmed numbers, our calls have been reduced by about 90%. We’ve only had to block 32 more so far. It’s just fabulous.

Try this form from 2017......

We got that blocker from QVC. Its been well worth it. We hardly get any spam calls anymore (maybe 1 once in a while), and when we do we block them. I think it blocks 1500 and also comes loaded with many already blocked.
Whats funny is, for years i bragged we didn't get many spam calls (even bragged on here) Well this year they started coming numerous a times a day. Thus we got mad and got the blocker. I highly recommend it!

I just got a call, caller ID showed an individual's name and listed a local number. I didn't recognize the person and have caught onto this phishing scheme. But I decided to answer anyway. Foreign voice wanting to tell me about some kind of senior care.
I interrupted him with a question, "Why does your company call from the telephone number of a private citizen?" He hung up on me.

In the last two days, I’ve received 5 calls from “SSI” using 5 different telephone numbers. Our call blocker can also block by name, which I did after the second call from them. We can block by number, area code, exchange or name. I’ve used all of them in the battle against these calls.

@TX-starlight wrote:@KingstonsMom You're probably right. I turned 65 in Dec. & the health care calls started in Oct. I still have a landlind, & rarely give out my cell#. If I don't know the number calling on either, I do not answer. Also, sign up on the do not call register www.donotcall.gov. It won't stop them all, but it does help. You can register landline +cell phones.
Oh man do I agree about turning 65. The do not call list is a waste anymore. The call blocker that Q sells has stopped most of my calls. Here is another tip---I called AARP/UNH Told them if they don't stop calling me for any reason, I am filing a harrasment charge against them. That did it, no more calls. It is not their job to do a heath assesment. That is why we have Dr.'s. If you tell someone not to call, and you know who it is, tell them by law , they are not allowed to call you anymore. I also filed a complaint about them filling up my mailbox with all their stuff. Now I only get mail if it is something important. AARP has been sending me garbage mail for at least 10 years and I always took my address off and put it in their postage free envelope and mailed it back. That didn't stop it.
When I turned "the magic age" making me eligible for AARP membership I noticed that junk mail and phone calls from them and "partner companies" were overwhelming!!! Even though I NEVR joined or signed up for any of their products!!!!
Someone told me about this trick----I went to the official AARP website with secure lock and OPTED OUT of everything!!! ...I think this cut my junk mail and robo/telemarketing calls by 70%!!!! And that showed that AARP must be a perpetrator of junk mail/calls........
@Spurt My calls have stopped since I called and talked to someone higher up. My mail also stopped. They are harrasing you when you tell them not to call you anymore and they continue to do this. Get this: I refused the welcome to medicare visit. When I went in for my 6 month check up they told me they are combining my 6 month visit with the welcome to medicare. That is not allowed. They started asking me dumb questions. That was the give away. Like do I have steps in my house? Seriously, why is that Medicares business? My Dr. billed them for the welcome to Medicare visit and that is not what I had. I am just SMH at all this. I am not disabled, I am not in rehab, I have no health problems. I have never smoked, drank, or did anything that wasn't healthy. Till this day I walk 2 miles a day. I clean out my gutters and everything at my house. They are asking if I have steps??
