I'm surprised that the Q allows these forums.

Web-searchable terms that could give them a black eye if the mods aren't fast with the deletes, host bashing (I would never allow an employee to be harassed on my own site), bandwidth gobbling posts that make fun of the company, paying for moderation, etc. etc.

All of this in a free to use format.

And to top it off, many of the criticizers say they don't even shop here, lol!

I enjoy the forum, but I wonder if it will be reconsidered at some point.

It's certainly been made abundantly clear that QVC wishes to keep this board light and on the topic of shopping. That's their right and those who refused to accept this are doomed to be consigned to poof-city. That said, the moderator last night was, in my opinion, over-zealous, as, in my opinion, he tends to be. Not all moderators are created equal, and not all moderation is consistent. I still maintain that QVC needs to stop giving its moderators the option to put in their own words why they are deleting a post and simply say "this post has been deleted because it is in violation of the posted standards" and include a link to those standards. Deleting a post and saying its because "it might be upsetting" for example is simply too arbitrary, and opens the door to further posts asking why, which continues the cycle.
