Unprecedented: FEMA Issues Midwest Storm Warning

I do not believe this has ever occurred before. Not sure what to think about that. Weathermen are now calling for more than 2 feet of snow, high winds, and potentially extreme snow drifts in surrounding KC area and to the south of KC. Streets are now covered with ice with freezing rain conditions soon to turn to snow. Highways are starting to come to a crawl and vehicles are off road all over the city. They are saying it could be the storm of the century. I'm not an alarmist but it is starting to sound a little scary around here.

If you live in the midwest...stay home if you can and check in on the elderly and folks with special needs over the next couple of days. STAY SAFE!
