Unintended Consequence Of The Slow Shipping

One consequence of Q's very slow processing and shipping nowadays is the customer reviews don't appear as quickly as they used to. I buy mostly clothes and a customer can't [at least legitimately] review a product she hasn't tried on yet. While I take customer reviews with a grain of salt, I do find the sizing comments helpful esp if many make the same comment about how it runs. I'm between 2 sizes oftentimes lately and the sizing info from customers helps me decide on a size. It used to be that maybe 10 or so days after an item aired we'd start to see reviews but not now.

@dulwich and I are both trying to decide what size to order on an item presented last week so I'm waiting to read reviews on it but who knows when any will show up. 🙄

Re: Unintended Consequence Of The Slow Shipping

I recently received an email from HSN asking me to review my recent Beekman purchase.  I thought, "Gee, I'd really like to.  Unfortunately I haven't received it yet", and the pkg didn't arrive for another week after that!

Re: Unintended Consequence Of The Slow Shipping

Another consequence of slow shipping is when you finally receive the item and then unfortunately decide it needs to be returned you have to endure the long process of receiving your return refund.

There is no other way to return items for QVC except by sending them back to them.

Companies that do have stores for returning merchandise directly have the advantage over QVC. Those are the companies I prefer to shop with now. Even with Covid-19 it was easy to get a refund from stores that are now opened. I purchased items late in March and May and never sent anything back and did not mind the wait because there was an understandable reason for waiting, and did not have the return shipping cost.

@chiclets I had the exact same experience as you with purchases I made at Kohls and Target (Kohls were from online). Returned locally when they accepted returns again, no hassle and instant credit. Meanwhile a return of a $100+ item that Q returns department received seven days ago hasn't yet been processed for me to get my refund.

@Pearlee Many choose not to but return credits are the reason I always use my Q card and easy pay.  Only risking one payment while I make a final decision on my purchase.  If it's a keeper I pay the full balance.
