First time I made an even exchange, purchase was for a Dennis Basso pant. It was out of stock and order could not be filled. I was charged $6.50 return fee. Have straigtened out but could have overlooked because I make many purchases and don't always check each charge Check your bills!!!

Re: Unhappy with even exchange

yes, everyone should check their purchases and their returns.

mistakes happen and can easily be rectified.

@luvsshopping   So are you saying because qvc could not honor your requested exchange, they should not charge you the return fee because that's on them?

I'm a bit confused. I've made a few returns that could not be honored and was then processed as a regular return and was charged the return fee of $6.95 (not $6.50). I didn't think anything about it.

Is this written somewhere in their "Returns/Exchanges" info?

@PINKdogWOOD if you send an item back for exchange and QVC cannot exchange the item once it is received, they are not supposed to charge you the return label fee. In fact you are to get all of your money refunded - as if the purchase never happened. I have sent items back for exchange (before the EZ return policy started) and QVC did not have the size or color in stock so I was given a FULL refund.

@PINKdogWOOD If they cannot fulfill your exchange, they are not supposed to charge you anything for the return. (Their policy.)  All shipping charges in both directions are forgiven.

I agree that you should not be charged the $6.95 fee. The correct size/color could have been available at the time you returned it, or It could become available any time before they process your return. The customer made a commitment to buy it. If QVC cannot fulfill it, that is on them.
