About a month ago, I began to experience pain in my feet. A week later, I thought I had sprained my wrist. Two days after that the pain had moved into my arms, legs, and both hands. Last week my elbows and knees began to hurt. Now, everything hurts.
My doctor did a variety of blood tests and says I don't have diabetes, a thyroid problem, anemia, or arthritis. She basically said to take Ibuprofen and come back in a couple of weeks.
Since all this started, I have done some reading on Aspartame poisoning and am starting to think that's what I have. I have been addicted to Diet Dr. Peppers for many years (about 3 a day) and I know that I consume a lot of items that have artificial sweeteners in them.
I went cold turkey off the Diet Dr. Peppers on December 22 and have started drinking coffee for the first time in my life. I hate it but I'm drinking it anyway. I am hoping that when I get all the Aspartame out of my system, this pain will stop.
Does anyone here have any experience with this?
