Each month, my health insurance company sends me a summary of what they have paid for the month.

Last month I thought I fractured my wrist and my primary care doc sent me to an orthopedic doctor. The problem was arthritis and he fitted me with a wrist brace.

He billed the insurance company $149.00 for a $25.00 brace. No wonder health care costs so much. I could have bought the brace at any drug store. What a rip off.

OK, I've vented and I feel better.
