It doesn't work that way with narcotics.

How insulting and ironic that your tag line talks about breast cancer. Have you ever seen someone dying from it and in severe pain? The last thing they need are severe restrictions on obtaining much needed pain relief.Everyone should stop complaining and be grateful people are trying to control these drugs considering the problem we are having in America today. So you have to go to a little extra trouble....big deal. It may save lives, stop bellyaching, we all have to do it. Really, is it asking you to do so much to get your fix ????

I agree that we should all be grateful that somebody is attempting "to control these drugs considering the problem we are having...". However, this post is a little harsh. It is a big deal to those in extreme pain to get their pain relievers as quickly as possible. Some may need to "stop bellyaching" but some others could show a bit more compassion.

You KNOW why, they told you. It's the law. So, stop whining and just go get a new script! If you hadn't held on to it for 5 days, you would have this problem.

Geeeez, how little compassion from what I have read on some of these posts.

This is America and we are supposed to have freedom to pursue happiness, to make our own choices as long as those choices don't hinder the freedoms of others. How does a person's desire to take pain medication or any other medication or supplement hinder my freedom or yours? I don't want the government in my business or medicine cabinet.

Really? When said person gets behind the wheel, or operates machinery, pilots an airplane/subway/train, etc.
(I'm NOT referring to the OP just your question)

The same could be said about someone who is drunk, hungover, or hasn't gotten enough sleep. Do you want the government monitoring your sleep?

I agree to you in a way too MJ..as that is my only issue..getting behind the wheel..but that said that is also a issue with any of the ' recreational"" uses or even medical uses of certain sustances that has been approved in some states..
Catch 22 to me..is the driving issue..other then that..I tend to agree with OR..they want to go doctor shop and pharmacy shop it is on them.
The Database look up..iStop should be doing a good job on this alone..if all MD's did it.
Although I do believe as of March 2015..all narcotic scripts have to be sent electronically which will help!
