This happens quite a lot on freight company's that will deliver big heavy items, the customer will only get curbside delivery. You have to read the fine print!
Our neighbors across the street had large furniture delivered in the middle of winter during a snow storm! They got curbside delivery because they didn't want to pay for delivery inside for $200!!
The delivery people left it right outside covered in plastic by their large hilled driveway and we got a call from the neighbors to ask my husband to help get it into their house! My husband declined due to bad back. My husband asked them why they didn't pay to get delivery into their house and they told him they wanted to save the $200!!! So the furniture sat outside for 2 days until their son could come by to help them!
