@charsha My area's USPS is horrendous. It's even been highlighted on the news as being unreliable, non-professional, and poorly ran. I have had at least, no kidding, 30 packages not delivered to my box but delivered to another person. In addition, I have received over a dozen packages addressed to another person.
I could go on and on but you get the point. And no, this was not QVC's fault.
On the other hand, the UPS in our area is outstanding. I wish they would not turn over our packages to USPS for delivery. They can get it to USPS in 2-3 days whereas, it sits at our post office for 3-6 days.
I know it is demographics, some like their USPS and others don't. In my previous area the USPS was superb.

Call QVC Customer Service to let them know you are/did send it back, when they check on it and see that yes it is on it's way back then tell them to credit your account for the payment(s) you have made. They do not have to wait till they officially get the item back once their carrier has picked it up, it's on them.

It is not the fault of the post office. It is the method chosen by QVC to send and return items. The USPS does an incredible job with employees who work extremely hard, so please stop the USPS bashing.

I've changed two things in ordering online ...
First, I don't order anything that weighs more than a pound. Earrings, makeup, or feathers ... that's pretty much it.
Second, I print my own labels, with tracking, on Paypal. It costs less and gets there and processed much faster.

I don't think it's a USPS issue. I rarely return anything, probably only under 5 items in the past 30 years. The last thing I returned, and can't for the life remember what it was, I emailed CS and explained that I would be returning the item. They told me what to do for USPS pickup, which I followed. I was issued a refund within a week, the package was picked up within a week, then I got an email about a month or so later saying they'd received my return and would be issued a refund shortly. No complaints from me so far. Hope your issue is resolved soon.

Welcome to the USPS haters club.

As others have stated. QVC chooses the mailing process/route, not USPS. Your problem is with qvc.
I have absolutely no problem with our Post Office delivery. They do a fantastic job. We have 2 different mail people. One likes to drive the mail truck for delivery, the other likes to park the truck at the church lot and walk his route. Both do an awesome job in all kinds of weather. NO complaints from me at all for either recieving or sending out mail or packages.

@charsha wrote:I used a QVC pre-paid label due to the weight of a handbag I was returning, and it's trek started on April 6th, and today April 16th it is still in the process of getting back to QVC!!
Also another package using their label, was mailed the same day due to a sandal that was defective, is also circuling the states on its way back with their "2-day" return label. I know it will eventually get there, but just as a contrast, I returned a package of tops using my own label, (which usually takes weeks before I see a credit) and it has already been processed and the credits given. Surprised about this.
It is more than annoying that keeps happening. The USPS is a joke, and now I see the price of stamps will increase again in July. P.S. I was charged $6.95 for using my own label, so now I will have to get that reversed, as well. SMH
SMH at your post. Good grief.
And NO, the USPS is not a joke.
You made a big deal out of nothing.

Shoekitty said, It takes forever. Sometimes over 3 weeks. Once they get it, it takes a weeks to see refund, but the exchanges come quick. I return so little that the last return I sent in for exchange in December, before Christmas took 23 days to get to them.
