MIne still works.  Recently though I get a message that my mail has been delivered.   I can't remember how I got it, but I'm glad I did.  Very handy to know when your mail has arrived during the day.

That's a new feature of Informed Delivery.

I haven't had any problems or changes recently.  I've had the service for over a year or so.  I hope you get the issue resolved very soon.

Please remember...it says mail coming soon and does not necessarily mean that day.  I give it 2 more days before I report anything missing.

@CherryHugs.  I still get them like clockwork, for what they're worth.  They're very inaccurate.   I often get no notice of package delivery and go check in a day or two and find one or more in my unlocked, rural-style mailbox.

I signed up because I was having trouble getting my magazines and I wanted to know when I'd be getting them. Guess what, they don't scan magazines. They do though, scan all the junk mail. Who cares about that. Anyway, I don't find it to be the most reliable. Anyhow, I still am getting my emails everyday, so far.

As a back up to Informed Delivery, once I get the USPS tracking number, I sign up for text notifications about the status.  In my experience, they are more thorough (you get them every step) and a little more timely than Informed Delivery.  I also use a similar service with UPS that I pay $20/annually for.  Why?  I've lost so much stuff to porch pirates that it isn't funny.  Things are better now since the entrance to my apartment building is more secure, but I don't take any chances.

I wish I'd get that. Sometimes he's here at 10:00 other days it's 6 pm. That would save multiple trips down the street to the box.

@CherryHugs - I've just been discussing this with a friend today.  He tried signing up yesterday, but can't get into his account at all, so he may try signing up again.

I signed up two years ago.  For a while, I got daily emails with scanned images of my mail.

Then for no reason at all, they stopped.  Nothing I did could get them to restart, even sending in feedback.  They just told me to try the things I'd already done.

So I log in every day. I do get notifications for any packages (a separate preference setting under your account).  However, right now I'm waiting for a package that has so far taken 5 days to get from the sorting office 45 minutes away, to my local post office.  (It took less than 2 days to get across several states.)

It should've been delivered yesterday but at 9:40 P.M., I got an email saying "Alert!  Delivery Exception."  Nothing more since and I've been checking all day.

It's chocolates I ordered online.  Can't wait to see what condition they're in, if they ever arrive.  USPS lately has gotten pretty bad, where I am.  Used to be good.

I haven't heard anything about them revamping the system.

Have you tried signing in to your account?  If I remember correctly, I had to agree to it before they started the email delivery notifications.  I couldn't get in with my password for some reason, so I had to change it then.  I've gotten the delivered messages every day that I get mail since then.  They even have feedback as to whether the notification came on time, early or late.  I love it since my mailbox is a quarter mile from my house and my mail people aren't as dependable as our longtime carrier used to be.
