I've had this service for many years.  I do have a problem in the fact that when I don't receive a piece and I do report it as missing, I never hear back...not one word.  I've spoken with the PO and all I get is a shrug.

I've been thinking about doing this for ages because, as someone else has posted, we have a very long drive.  If I know nothing (or nothing important) is coming, I don't have to walk down to check.

And it's always a coin toss, what time our mail will be delivered, so it will save me walking down in the dark at this time of year, if there's nothing there.

@CherryHugs   I have it and it's good to know what to expect.  Sometimes the mail shown is a day late. If it's something important I'll leave it in the in box otherwise delete it.

Yes, I've used it for several years now and love it.  I now have a PO Box, too, so I know whether or not I need to drive down to the post office.

Today order status says I have two packages out for delivery by the USPS, yet my informed delivery says I'm getting nothing.....so it goes.  Not helpful.

It is a good idea that can fail miserably too...plus there are days I never get what is shown for  for many days

I've never heard of this before! Apparently I have been living, unknowingly, under a rock! My mail delivery has steadily gotten worse over the past year or so. We have different drivers, usually putting mail in the wrong mailboxes. Last December, I got most all Christmas cards after January, even though the postmarks were in December. This December, I got mail delivered once a week at best. I had outgoing mail in my box three days this month before it was picked up. I'll be signing up for this!

Have it and love it.

Now on an icy or rainy day, I don't trudge all the way out to the mailbox at the end of my long possibly icy driveway just to find a bunch of Medicare or advertising junk!!!

It's a very good service.

I started using it years ago for my dad as bills were "missing" and he would say he never received it.  So I was able to see his mail everyday.

It won't show a specific magazine or newspaper being delivered, but you know something will be delivered.

It's not perfect, but I find it helpful.

Informed Delivery is great at letting you know what mail you should have received that day.  it makes it easy to submit lost claims.

What Informed Delivery can't do for you it search for and identify mail that has been stuck in their system and you feel that you should have received but didn't.
