About a half hour ago, I was just breathing a sigh of relief that the packages I was waiting for  were delivered . I was just out sweeping the porch when I saw a trailer from a local body shop dragging a UPS truck.  I felt bad because my first thought was. at least I got my Packages. This time of year must be brutal for those drivers.

It's all in a days's work for them,  that's the job.  I'm having a hate-hate relationship with UPS lately.  This afternoon, I was looking out my window and I saw the UPS driver run up the stairs with two packages in his arms.  I live in a multi unit condo bldg.  I got up intending to buzz him in when he rang the doorbell....I stood there.....I waited.....no doorbell.  So, I went to the outside door and my package was just sitting there.  On the outside step!  Where anyone walking by could have just grabbed it and kept going!  I am speechless!  The package was a gift that I want to give my sister tomorrow, so I am very happy and appreciative that Qvc sent it out so quickly.  3 days from order to delvery....can't ask for better than that.

@chrystaltree

That's happened to me, too.  Glad I was home to see him coming.

Say what you will about UPS,  but they're 100X better than any alternative we have available.   Considering the number of packages they handle,  there are few screw-ups.

Not a fan of UPS at all.  Everything they ever deliver looks like they ran it over with the truck first.

Just because one individual has few screw ups doesn't mean that is the case across the board.  I went through a long period of having someone else's packages on my porch consistently.  In my development, many of us have the same house number but different street name.  The driver kept delivering to the right house number, wrong street. This went on and on.  At first I kept taking the package back to the correct house.  Then I realized UPS needed to know this was an ongoing problem so I started calling them and making them come get it and redeliver it.

More than once I've had UPS indicate they left a package on my porch when they never did. They kept saying it was probably stolen.  However, I have cameras outside my home and UPS never delivered anything.

I'll take USPS or FedEx anyday.

Every package screw up that I've had came courtesy of FedEx , so  what can I say ??

I get great delivery service from UPS; only had a couple of issues a long time ago, but none in recent years.  I have a 700-foot driveway and they come right up to the house, toot the horn and hand the package to me.  If I'm not home, they leave it on the porch, tucked out of sight.

Can't complain about them at all and I wouldn't want to be doing their job during the nasty winters we have here.  I'd rather they delayed a delivery, than risk their lives on the road.

@QVCkitty1  Me too,  QVC just had to ship me a second air fryer because they never delivered the first one,  at least not to me.   The driver flat lied about leaving it here.   I was home and my dogs tell me when a delivery is made.   FedEx has a bunch of thieves working for them.

@Kachina624,Yes, those were my issues exactly. In one instance I was lucky, because the person It was delivered to , brought it to me, an honest man.

@chrystaltree  They never ring my doorbell or knock.  It bugs me.  I am always on the lookout if I order a Dooney or something expensive.  I don't understand why it is so much work to ring the doorbell.
