I'm curious if anybody on here is having problems with UPS delivering packages.
I have two items I purchased a few weeks ago. Both were "out for delivery" last Friday 11/30. They were returned back to my local UPS office and rescheduled for delivery Monday 12/3. I checked yesterday morning and they only showed an arrival scan back to the UPS office on 11/30. They never showed "out for delivery". About 9pm last night I checked the status to see if it changed. Nope. They showed an updated delivery date of 12/4. Pretty obvious they never even made it onto a truck yesterday.
Aggrivated, I called UPS last night and got the story that they were overloaded with packages and cannot get the deliveries out. She felt that there was still a chance my packages would be delivered last night and asked me to call in the morning.
Well I checked status this morning, and it showed "out for delivery". It's now 9:30pm, no boxes. Just checked the status and once again they have been returned back to the UPS office and now showing a rescheduled delivery date of 12/5!
I am so beyond annoyed with this. Maybe I just don't understand, but I would think they delayed boxes would get some sort of priority on delivery. I understand the back up...but come on.
I am to the point where I am just going to go pick them up myself tomorrow. I am currently 11 minutes into my hold time trying to get to a rep to ask them to be held. Sadly, the office where they are being returned to is about 30 minutes away.
This is an ongoing issue with UPS I have. When I do get boxes delivered, my local driver climbs about 2 of my 10 steps to my door...then chucks the box the rest of the way up. I have already filed a complaint on this as he has broken one of my items. I always hear the "bam" of it hitting the door.
It's unfortunate when you shop with companies and cannot pick what delivery company you want items sent by. FedEx is great. Rarely any issues with them. I just think I am to a point where I will no longer shop with business' that use UPS as the delivery carrier.
Sorry for the rant, just annoyed currently. 5 days into trying to get these items delivered. I need one of them by Friday.
