BREAKING: UPS workers reach a tentative contract deal ahead of strike deadline

UPS and the Teamsters union reached a tentative agreement for a new five-year contract covering 340,000 workers at the nation’s largest package carrier, six days before a threatened strike that risked snarling deliveries across the country.

This is good news but not surprising. UPS isn't about to shut down over reasonable requests.

I'm still holding my breath, to see if the rank and file fully approve it.  I believe there was an occasion some years back wherein it ended up back to the drawing board.  Fingers crossed.

@Estellee. AC sounds like a great idea but the way they run the average delivery truck constantly stopping and going, getting in and out, opening the large back door, etc., I doubt AC would be very effective.
