UPS TO DELIVER ON SATURDAY

From the link above: "The expanded drop-off schedule, announced Monday, means UPS to go head-to-head with FedEx and the United States Postal Service. Both of those companies already deliver packages to people's homes on the weekend.

The change is "one of the largest in the company's 109-year-history," a UPS statement said."

Like any business, they have to remain competitive. Perhaps with Sat deliveries they;ll do a better job, they won't just automatically dump stuff off at those Access Points.

Being a prime member I have gotten many packages via UPS on Saturdays. Can't give you how far back, but is not that recent. Just had a USPS Sunday delivery last week. Was a younger kid, so I asked him if he was Part Time. He said "no, that he fills in on drive routes, and volunteers for weekends". I love prime, worth every penny for deliveries and the free 4k movies I watch.

UPS has always had Saturday delivery for their higher level services.

I'm assuming (although it doesn't state it in the article) that UPS Brown is what is getting Saturday service.

I was wondering the same thing. UPS has always delivered on Saturdays in my neck of the woods.
