@Tinkerbell3   Perhaps we can give some exception to people who are working through the pandemic and perhaps the shipping departmets are short-handed and apt to make mistakes.  Take a moment and contact customer service.  Leave out the word  "furious." I  I am sure you will get much farther with your situation.

I'd be concerned that the product was tried and is now contaminated.

 

ETA:  And not with the virus, just contaminated from somebody's fingers using the product or make-up being put on a face or eyes then returned.
