Re: Two and a half men finale

I hated it when C.S. was on, but after he left, I really liked the show, and liked A.K.

It seems if you hadn't watched the show since Charlie left you liked the finale a lot more. That's the way it was for me and DH. We really enjoyed the finale and got all the jokes. We were wondering if we'd enjoy it and get a lot of it given how much of the more recent episodes we hadn't seen. We weren't disappointed one bit -- really enjoyed it.

This was the same way I felt when I watched the finale. I hadn't watched the show since Charlie left. But I got just about all the jokes in the finale because they went back and found all the folks from the beginning years.

I think the people who were very disappointed were ones who watched the entire 12 years of the show. Apparently Charlie was not mentioned much during the past 4 years - since he was thought to be dead and all! So I think to these watchers of the entire series, the finale seemed inappropriate as it concentrated so much on Charlie.

But to those of us who quit watching when Charlie left, the finale was like coming home to the original series. Except for the change in décor of the house, much seemed the same. I have read others were disappointed that it was such a silly, disjointed finale. Well gosh, it was a pretty silly, disjointed series from the start. It was also very funny a lot of the time. So the finale fit right in with all that had transpired over the years.....

Re: Two and a half men finale

I felt the show went from stupid to insulting when Sheen was still on and stopped watching. Just wasn't good for this house when granddaughters are here a lot during the evening. I'm sure it was loved by many, though. That doesn't surprise me.

His stalker Rose, who he supposedly married and went to France for a honeymoon with and got hit by a train (which actually didn't happen) bought a house with a dungeon and it showed her sending food down to him, etc. He eventually escaped and that's what started everything for the last episode. I thought it was great!!!

Re: Two and a half men finale

IMO Charlie Sheen made the show. It just didn't make it without him.
