A letter comes to the house that Charlie had 2 1/2 million dollars in residuals. Alan wanted to claim it but needed the death certificate and he tried getting it from his mother who thought Alan had it, Walden attempts to locate it but nothing of his passing anywhere. Which got everyone to thinking he was alive.
Yes, they did divorce in a previous episode and Walden allows Alan to get a gift, no limit and Alan buys a Ferrari but Lynnsay gets upset and he returns it buys a flawless 4 Carat engagement ring, proposes but in the finale she is pawning it and the little boy is only shown in a phone picture and I don't recall seeing him in the last episode at all.
And when Charlie escapes the dungeon, he claims the money (no idea how he got wind of it) but he gives his daughter $100,000.00 (I didn't know he knew he had a daughter) and he gives same amount to Mia, Berta, & Jake who goes to Vegas and turns it into 2 1/2 million and he gives his mother $100,000 too. Sadly no Alan gets no money.
It ends with Charlie (not really Charlie) coming to the house and a piano falls on him and kills him, they pan out and you see Chuck Lorre saying "winning" and a 2nd piano falls on him and that was it...Dumb and stupid IMHO
Wow
Thank you so much for the synopsis!
I kind of like the idea of Charlie being alive the entire time and giving his money to Mia, Berta, Jake and his daughter.
It got so I barely watched it at all anymore because Allen was written as such a horrible character.
ITA, that last scene sounds bad. Tacky & stupid.

It seems if you hadn't watched the show since Charlie left you liked the finale a lot more. That's the way it was for me and DH. We really enjoyed the finale and got all the jokes. We were wondering if we'd enjoy it and get a lot of it given how much of the more recent episodes we hadn't seen. We weren't disappointed one bit -- really enjoyed it.

I loved this show when Charlie Sheen was on. Ashton Kutcher...NO. I haven't watched it since C.S. left.

I take my post back. I did watch it a time or so with A.K. It stunk. I didn't watch it again. C.S. WAS that role.

I could not fully make it thru 2 episodes with A.K.
