Turner Field?????

I read an article today about the Atlanta Braves leaving and moving out to the suburbs and that Turner Field will become a middle class housing development. Why? When the stadium is only 17 years old!

I have to admit that I don't know much about it because I just learned of it, is it true that the city of Atlanta can't afford the team?

Who is going to pay for this?
