Turkey leftovers

Hubby will be reheating the last of the leftovers tonight for his dinner. Are you still eating leftovers?

No, we went out to eat on Thanksgiving. I didn't miss the left-overs as I never really enjoyed re-heated turkey and the trimmings.

No leftovers for me. I politely declined to take any.

I turned ours into turkey salad; everyone is still enjoying it, and will be sad when the bowl is empty.

simmered the carcass for about six hours.

i strained everything and put some containers of the stock in the freezer for soup.

i saved some out to make turkey barley soup tomorrow.

we did not have a lot left over, but we did use some of the meat to make sandwiches.

I didn't really have a lot of leftovers.

I did make some turkey chili with the last of the turkey.

I make tons of extra food because this is our favorite meal of the year. DH and I have had Thanksgiving food for six meals now and will finish everything off tonight. I will boil the bones down tomorrow for stock. Yum!!! We will be sad when it's gone.
