I had a 365 Bedtime Stories book as well, and it was a favorite of mine.
About 10 years ago I tried to find the version of the book I owned, online. While I did not find the one I owned in the 60's, I did purchase one that has the same stories I remembered. Versions of these books date back into the 1930's.

That's a classic-Drifting Along with the Tumblin' Tumbleweed. Sons of the Pioneers. I don't know if Roy was singing with them or not.

When I was in Arizona a few years ago I was at a place called the Haunted Hamburger in Jerome and in the gift shop they sold jewelry made from compressed & dyed tumbleweeds. I thought it was such an ingenius idea that I bought a couple bracelets.

Oh I like those bracelets!
Who would think that a tumbleweed could be so attractive???

Check over on Amazon. I saw all the versions (all covers) there including the one I loved. How I wished I lived on "What a jolly street". Good luck finding your old book friend.

"Seeds" from a "Tumbleweed?"
What *IS* a Tumbleweed??

Collection of weeds and grass that has dried out from lack of rain and with the constant wind they knot up, dry up
brittle balls of dead vegetation that just keep tumbling.
My fence row is now clear of them for the time being.
Had some hired help that mowed over them too much work to pick them up so he just mulched them to death.
LOL

Thank you. Was hard to imagine for someone unfamiliar. I only saw pics. I had no idea they had "seeds" in them.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
