We have every reason to be at peace because God will either protect us from
suffering or give us immense strength to see us through it. Lord, I set
aside my anxieties because You care for me every day in every way.


Scripture for the day:

Jesus said to them, "Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and
rest a while." ~Mark 6:31

Meditation for the day:

God can work through us better when we are not hurrying. We can go very
slowly, very quietly, from one duty to the next, taking time to rest and
pray between. We need not be too busy. We can take everything in order. We
can venture often into the rest of God and we can find peace. All work that
results from resting with God is good work. We can claim the power to work
miracles in human lives. We can do many things with God's help. We can do
good things through God who rests us and gives us strength. We can partake
regularly of rest and prayer.

Prayer for the day:

I pray that I may not be in too much of a hurry. I pray that I may take
time out often to rest with God.

Hello my friends! Nothing has changed yet, I was thinking Corporate would
call me today like they said, but they didn't. I'll call them tomorrow for
sure to see if they can still help me.
Today's blessings would you believe - Ollie passed his intermediate class!
Sammy, of course, was too sick to go. But we took him to the Vet this
morning and someone mentioned about buying the pocket pills made by
Greenies, and they sold us the beef flavored kind. There's a hole in it,
where you put the pill, and then you close it up and give it to the dog and
he ate it up like a treat - so that's good!!! That was a good blessing. He
slept most of the afternoon. He's on prednisone now and antibiotics, and
pain pills. The lady receptionist said that's the only way her dog will
take pills. It works!!! Praise the Lord! Now I have a good feeling that
he's going to get better soon - of course, with all of you praying for him,
that's for sure. Lori is still seeing Steve, and things are still going
good between them - another blessing - I sure hope he makes her happy!
Praying for you all - thanks for your prayers for us and Sammy!!

PHYSICAL HEALING PRAYER

" Jesus, you are the wounded healer, heal our friends through your wounds.

prayers for the mercy of your Son to heal these people right now! Thank you
Mother Mary, Thank you Jesus, Thank you Abba Father, and Thank you Holy

We come to you, St. Joseph, for employment for the right jobs for Dennis and
Linus.
May these interviews be successful and grant them their hearts desires, all
according to God's Holy Will.

As the pages are turned, what shall they see.
Oh, what does it matter, turn on the TV
Then confusion reigns, they can't all agree
On what they should watch on the old TV
So they open the Book in which they confide.
No, no the Bible, but the TV guide.
The Word of God is seldom read.
Maybe a verse as they fall into bed.
Exhausted and sleepy and tired as can be.
Not from reading the Bible, from watching TV
So then back to the table side by side,
Lie the Holy Bible and the TV guide.
No time for prayer, no time for the Word,
The plan of Salvation is seldom heard.
But forgiveness of sin, so full and free,

Mother Teresa's Daily Prayer


Dear Jesus,

Help me to spread Your fragrance wherever I go, flood my soul with Your
spirit and life.

Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly that my life may only be a
radiance of Yours. Shine through me and be so in me that every soul I come
in contact with may feel Your Presence in my soul.

Let them look up and see no longer me, but only Jesus! Stay with me and then
I will begin to shine as You shine, so as to be a light to others.

The light, O Jesus, will be all from You; none of it will be mine. It will
be You, shining on others through me. Let me thus praise You the way which
You love best, by shining on those around me.

Let me preach You without preaching, not by words, by by example, by the
catching force, the sympathetic influence of what I do, the evident fullness
