racist/bihoted remarks are cause for me to leave. I'm a very introspective person and tend to apply others' remarks ( not racial type) to maybe some fault of mine. n either case, I don't like to be around angry people

Well I am probably the wrong person to ask. We once went to a Stars on Ice thing when my daughter was maybe 10. We were in line to get this light up thing that she wanted and a redneck behind us called my daughter a nappy headed N. I turned around and I punched him right in the face as hard as I could and his nose exploded with blood and he dropped like a box of rocks. My boyfriend who is my husband now said was so shocked he just said wow, lets go.

That was definitely acting in anger but I cannot say I really regret it. I certainly wouldn't handle it the same way today but that doesn't mean I regret that one bit.

Good for you! There's nothing at all wrong with standing up for your child.

I think it takes a much stronger person to remain in control than to lose his temper. Anyone can stand and fight but it takes a strong person to walk away.

Standing and fighting doesn't mean a person's angry OR out of control.......& both strong people and cowards walk away...........

A fighter is certainly not happy. lol! And the two walk away for entirely different reasons.

False. Anger is a human emotion along with many other emotions. Some of us just learn not to get as angry as others.

Then I guess it's wrong to fight against injustice.

I guess it was wrong for the brave people to fight against r*cism.

I guess it was wrong to fight for equality in the work place.

I guess it was wrong for women to fight for the right to vote.

I guess it was wrong for the country to fight against sla*ery.
