Then I guess it's wrong to fight against injustice.

I guess it was wrong for the brave people to fight against r*cism.

I guess it was wrong to fight for equality in the work place.

I guess it was wrong for women to fight for the right to vote.

I guess it was wrong for the country to fight against sla*ery.

Those are not physical fights out of anger but mental fights because of wanting something better. Not the same thing at all as losing your temper.

So you think that the people who fought against those injustices weren't angry?

I guess then the Civil War really was civil.

So the US was weak for entering the WW2?

I guess fighting against terrorism is wrong too.

I guess we should have done nothing after two planes were flown in to the World Trade Center buildings, and the Pentagon on 9/11.

I guess the passengers that were on the other plane, should have just sat back, and done nothing, too.

There's no simple answer to this. It depends what the issue is. If it's about my family, especially one of my kids (like Irshgirl mentioned)...that will be a whole other issue than if you just insulted me.

I think this is a rather good example of when to use a billy stick and no I'm not angry.

There isn't a simple answer to this. That is how I felt. I have been insulted many times. It doesn't bother me. Insulting my daughter hurt me so badly. Like I said, I would handle it differently today but I don't regret it one bit and it wouldn't be something I would apologize for ever. You live and learn. I am very easy going but every one has that button that will get them out of their normal character quickly.
