I don't consider that a hater, but if it happened, I'd call them and ask the friend to talk about what's wrong. See if you can fix it.

I agree and will add ""hater"" seems to be a catchphrase for anyone who disagrees with someone or doesn't like what they like.

It's over-used and silly.

My former best friend- I don't hate her and would never wish anything bad happen to her. It happened and we have no contact now.

There can be a very fine line between love and hate. I would talk to my friend before I used that word....hate.

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on the circumstances. It also depends on how you define "hater".

These types of bumper-sticker ""pearls of wisdom"" or cleverly worded single-sentence pronouncements are rarely true. Very few situations are black and white/true or false.

I think people can change over time, attitudes can sharpen or reverse depending on circumstances and experiences.

Someone who's a friend at one point in our lives, may not be as much of a friend later.
