"If a friend becomes a hater, they were hating all along."

True, or.......?

A hater? In what context is the person hating?

"Hater" has never described anyone I have ever had as a "friend," thankfully.

If your very close friend of years standing suddenly turns against you and cuts you out of their life or else rejects you for no reason you can think of.....

I think hater is very strong. Maybe the friends have grown apart and no longer share the same view on things.

Hmmm I don't believe that for a second because there is always a reason and you know what it is, you are just in denial.

This didn't happen to me, it's a catchphrase that is making the rounds. I wanted to know your thoughts on it, it wasn't about me. {#emotions_dlg.blink}

My "you" was generic, sorry you took it personally.

I cut a close friend off a few years ago... I THOUGHT she was a true close friend, but, I realized over the years.... that little things she said... hurtful comments... added up... she really was not a friend at all... she was jealous of me all along and how my life was compared to hers.

So I just stopped calling her... going out with her... being around her... and made the cut. I do not want negative shallow people around me. I only value true friends and relationships.. few in number, yes, but, so much better than having many so called friends that are really not friends at all.
